There is a bell at the common area of W.S. Does anyone have a history of said bell?

Ron; are you referring to the area adjacent to the post office, known as Mill Circle?

Yes. The bell is very much in the open right in the center of that area.

The house and old barn adjacent to the bell, was owned by Gerald LaClerc who owned Ray Plastics, that is now Mylec. The bell was in the bellfry on the barn and removed for safety concerns.

Regarding that bell, I believe someone used to ring it for some occasion.. At least that's what I was told.. Hope that helps...
